Environmental Issues Affecting the Organizational Activities
Question: Describe about the key environmental issues affecting the organizational activities, challenges related to human resource planning, and that of staffing trends as well as challenges? Answer: Introduction: The blog aims at highlighting the practice of human resource planning at Earns Young Company with emphasis upon the two external environmental factors, namely globalization and technology and how these factors impact upon the activities of the company. The main purpose of the blog is to identify key environmental issues affecting the organizational activities, challenges related to human resource planning, and that of staffing trends as well as challenges. Impacts of Globalization: The rate at which various parts if the globe are successfully recovering from economic downturn, along with policy responses that they make, is surely stressing upon globalization; however the impacts of globalization has also been impacting organizational activities. The chief executive officer of Earns Young believes that increased opportunities within the emerging markets, ever rising technological power and also high rate of economic recovery internationally would ensure globalization impacts upon activities deepen gradually (Novy-Hildesley, 2006). With the increased globalization, the Company would face challenge to strike a perfect balance amidst opposing forces of globalization as well as national markets to achieve both local relevance as well as scale(Noe, , J., Gerhart, Hollenbeck Wright, 2015). Due to globalization, business opportunities have distributed quite more evenly across the globe than any other time. The market potential convergence amidst developed as well as emerging world refers to the number of markets considered by multinationals. Earns Young now needs to operate within a polycentric world where multiple divergent spheres exist in both types of markets (Thite, 2011). Thus, globalization impacted the firm in a way that it needs to formulate effective strategies to beat its rivals in the market. Impacts of Technology: Technology refers to an environmental aspect that affects enormously upon organizational activities. This is also true for Earns Young. Technological advancements due to enhanced globalization have led the Company to incorporate operational excellence with increasing capability of meeting customer demands(Balderston, 2011). The Companys worldwide team of tax, insurance, advisory professionals or transaction possesses wide knowledge as well as technical experience for interpreting market as well as competing powerfully. For Earns Young, digitalization refers to the conversion of important analogue information into digital information. With the increasing capability of digitalization, every phase of life gets captured as well as stored in digital manner(Lall, Bowles Baird, 2013). The firm has adopted various technological benefits and advancements and these have allowed the firm to achieve excellence in daily activities with increased productivity and profitability. Conclusion: Thus, it may be concluded from the blog that environmental aspects and factors like globalization and technology are inevitable for any business firm and these may have positive or negative impacts (TYSON, WORTHLEY DANLEY, 2004). Thus, it is essential for organizations like Earns Young to focus upon internal factors such as human resource planning as well to bring about a planned organizational excellence to realize its desired objectives.
